Seasons and exceptions together. Two seasons change the whole week: the Winter break and Summer hours. Exceptions change a single date: federal holidays closed, early closings on Halloween, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, a late opening for staff development, and a book sale day with two time slots, each with its own comment. An exception wins over the season it falls in: the Christmas dates fall inside the Winter break. Holidays and special hours lists the exceptions of the coming 60 days after the seasons, each with its comment; later ones appear as their date comes closer. The staff development morning is always in the coming week, so the formatters that replace a weekday with its exception date show one. Below the table, the same hours with every setting of the demo, the ones for exception dates included: in place of their weekday, for the coming 7 days only, or none.
